Parent Academy

Equipping Challenge Parents to Succeed

What Is
Parent Academy?

The Parent Academy at Challenge Preparatory Charter School was launched in 2022 with the goal of engaging families and providing them with free, valuable personal and professional development opportunities.

Through the Parent Academy, Challenge families have participated in free workshops and seminars covering a range of topics to support their needs. This has allowed families to connect with one another, as well as reconnect with the broader school community

As the Parent Academy continues to grow, Challenge is committed to strengthening the partnership between families and the school. Research shows that when families are actively engaged in their child's education, it leads to improved behavior, attendance, and academic performance.

The Parent Academy is focused on meeting the unique needs of Challenge families and creating a safe, supportive environment for growth and development. Upcoming free workshops and events are listed below, and families are encouraged to reach out to the Parent Academy Coordinator, Mrs. Janelle Sanford, with any questions.
