CTE and Early College Education at Challenge Charter High School
Go Beyond High School at Challenge Charter
Challenge Charter School is the only school on the peninsula offering Far Rockaway families a Kindergarten through Early College education. Our Career and Technical Education and partnerships with local colleges and universities offer paths to Regents graduation, CTE certification, and/or early college credits. Scholars can explore Allied Health, Culinary Arts, and Early College during high school.
In 2026, our third cohort of 20 scholars receiving certificates from CUNY’s School of Labor and Urban Studies was the largest group of any high school in NYC.
