Education Law 2-d requires each educational agency to post the Bill of Rights for Data Privacy and Security (Parents' Bill of Rights) and Supplemental Information for each contract where a third party contractor receives student data and/or teacher or principal data from CPCS.

The complaint process for New York City charter schools is as follows:
Contact the school's leadership
Try meeting with the principal or assistant principal.
Appeal to the school's board of trustees
The board meets regularly and publicly. You can contact the board directly or the school's parent committee to schedule an item on the agenda.
Appeal to the school's authorizer
If you're still not satisfied after the board's decision, you can appeal to the school's authorizer. The authorizer is the education organization that manages the school. You can find the authorizer and their contact information on the Charter Schools Authorizers page.
Appeal to the New York State Board of Regents
If you're still not satisfied after the authorizer's decision, you can appeal to the New York State Board of Regents.
You can also file a complaint with the Office of School Design & Charter by submitting the following to:
